Hot day at the track -Japanese festival 2015

There are ordinary days, there are are ordinary September days, there are ordinary hot September days. But none of them is like a Japanese Festival on hot and not so ordinary weekend in the middle of September. Two days of unstoppable competition fot the best time around the track. The day was 13`th of September 2015 and the destination was set on Kaloyanovo, Plovdiv. The early morning leave and the long drive just to get there was something usual for us- a couple of photographers and one of the owners of Driver.bg - a new and growing Automobile media here in Bulgaria.

But was worth it, when we finally got there!

The sun was shining on several tons of beautiful Japan metal ( and maybe somewhere carbon).

A Supra and an Aero GT86 were the stars of the show. There also were some Celica GT four, Couple of Imprezas, some Evo`s,a Skyline R33 ( even it was GTS-T ) lots of Honda cars ( one S2000 ), 2 350Z`s, Specially prepared for the event red Nissan Silvia 200SX S13 and of course it will be no Japanese festival without some rotary powerRR!

And a lovely Toyota AE 86 Levin

The track is well known - the show was taking place at the Dracon race track near Kaloyanovo, Plovdiv, but the configuration was new. So the guys (and a Girl with a capital G- Iva Rusinova was the bravest girl to race and compete with the all the men around ) had to learn first the track again, before the try for the best time around.

Some of the cars were specially prepared for the track, and some were just like your ordinaly daily drive.

One of the drivers was the european drift champion for 2010 Todor Dunev with his prepared for time attack red Nissan 200SX S13

The other famous face ( and very beautiful also ) was the drift and now rally driver Iva Rusinova and hers Subaru Impreza rally (ex Drift ) car.

The weather was hot, but the track was hotter with all the adrenaline rushing down the main straight and around the corners..
